It is our honour to invite psychopharmacologists around the world to attend
the twenty-seventh congress of the CINP to be held in Hong Kong, China.
It has been overlong since the last CINP biennial international congress was held in Asia,
in Kyoto in 1990. It is thus very much the right time to be holding our first congress in China. The event is symbolic of the international role of CINP to promote the highest level of scientific exchange in a rapidly globalizing world. The congress will allow senior and junior psychopharmacology researchers from Europe and North America to further acquaint themselves with the rapidly increasing numbers of talented investigators in China and other Asian nations.
Moreover, the XXVII CINP congress will once again have a programme of the very highest quality containing the latest research findings in psychopharmacology presented by the world's leading psychopharmacologists thus upholding the highest traditions of CINP. It is also expected that in addition it will address some wider issues such as ethics, conflicts of interest and nutraceuticals.
