Scientific Cafés

A first for the biennial conference taking place in Hong Kong will be the opportunity for evenings of interactive discussion with a prominent scientist in different fields in what the CINP is calling scientific Café. These evenings will take place in local restaurants specially selected by the local organising Committee. No more than twenty-five participants will be accepted for each dinner and will pay for the dinner via the website in advance.

The evening will consist of an informal dinner followed with a discussion lead by the chosen scientist. So far the following scientists have agreed to participate:

Professor Jeffrey Lieberman, USA
Professor Shitij Kapur, United Kingdom
Professor Robin Murray, United Kingdom
Professor Barbara Sahakian, United Kingdom

Each evening, which will include about two hours of discussion, will be designed to maximize the potential for international collaboration and exposure to scientific thinking of senior scientists which will be permanently updated on the congress website .

Per evening on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday a maximum of 3 Scientific Cafés each evening are planned.
